Site Engineer – MEP

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Site Engineer – MEP to lead the installation of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems on upcoming projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves translating design drawings into efficient field execution, managing daily site activities and ensuring quality, safety and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of all MEP installations within assigned zones.
• Interpret blue‑prints and develop time‑and‑motion plans for field work.
• Monitor costs against budgets and report variances to line managers.
• Ensure QA/QC standards are met, aiming for zero re‑work.
• Coordinate with supervisors, foremen and QA/QC engineers to implement method statements and risk assessments.
• Maintain tight schedules by securing timely delivery of materials and tools.
• Manage site documentation including marked‑up drawings, progress reports and RFI registers.
• Escalate critical issues requiring senior intervention while controlling daily priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Registered Civil Engineer status (or eligibility).
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on site experience in MEP works.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety and quality procedures.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
