About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Threat Hunter in Doha within its oil and gas sector. The role focuses on proactively identifying advanced threats and anomalies across endpoints, networks and cloud environments.
Key responsibilities
- Identify advanced threats and anomalies through proactive hunting across endpoints, networks and cloud environments
- Use EDR, SIEM and threat intelligence platforms, and apply MITRE ATT&CK frameworks for hypothesis-driven hunting
- Analyze logs and behavior, and identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) and TTPs
- Work with SOC and incident response teams to validate threats and improve detection capabilities
- Use scripting (e.g. Python, PowerShell) to automate hunting tasks and enrich data
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related subject
- 8+ years of related experience
- Preferred certifications: GCTI, GCFA or equivalent
