Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician provides aircraft ground handling and servicing at a Qatar installation, supporting United States and Coalition Forces. The role involves safe, efficient aircraft arrival, marshaling, parking, turn‑around and departure in a 24/7/365 high‑tempo environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a ZERO‑harm workplace by following all flight‑line safety requirements, FOD prevention, tool control and PPE usage.
• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, positioning, chocking and grounding in accordance with Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute arrival and departure services, including general ground handling tasks to support aircraft turn‑around and mission readiness.
• Assist with aircraft launch and recovery operations in coordination with supervisors and airfield management.
• Inspect and service TAS vehicles and support equipment, ensuring strict accountability of tools and compliance with tool‑control programs.
• Conduct routine flight‑line inspections, remove foreign objects and report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
• Complete required documentation such as servicing records, shift logs and inspection checklists.

Required profile

• Possession of a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Ability to work in a high‑tempo, austere environment with 24/7/365 flight‑line operations.
• Commitment to strict safety standards and zero‑harm workplace culture.
