Warehouse Associate I

About the role

Sidra Medicine is hiring an Associate Warehouse I to handle receiving, storing, picking and dispatching of clinical and non-clinical supplies in the warehouse, CSB and PSS locations. Depending on operational needs, the post holder may be assigned to any team in the warehouse or other MM location. The role is non-clinical and non-patient facing, and may involve other duties as assigned.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, put away, pick, issue and dispatch items, checking and reconciling incoming and outgoing paperwork.
• Label consignments correctly and ensure accurate data entry in the warehouse computer system.
• Pick items according to their issuing unit of measure and check for damage and expiry, quarantining damaged or expired stock.
• Ensure hazardous goods are accompanied by the correct documentation and are handled safely; report incidents related to health, safety, damage and disputes.
• Conduct cycle counts and random stock takes as required, and replenish other locations.
• Operate electronic equipment such as hand-held terminals and computers, and operate forklift, VNA and reach trucks for pallet picks and vertical movement to and from trucks and trailers.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and safe, and comply with warehouse policies, procedures, standards and the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or forklift licence.
• 2+ years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Attention to detail, good planning and written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with computer terminals and bar code scanners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Preferred: ERP and warehouse management systems experience, and safe operation of forklifts and other warehousing equipment.
