Accounting Manager

About the role

UCC is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead core accounting functions within a construction environment. The role focuses on managing the general ledger, financial reporting, and contractual accounting while ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger and oversee all accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Produce standalone and consolidated financial reports.
• Handle contractual accounting tasks, including retention and advance payments.
• Record and review manual journal entries with proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Utilize SAP for accounting processes and reporting.
• Coordinate with internal teams to monitor project financial performance.
• Support internal and external audit activities.

Required profile

• Arabic speaker (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of contractual accounting practices.
• Experience in consolidated financial reporting.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Strong SAP experience (mandatory).
