AI Engineer – Generative AI

About the role

We are looking for an AI Engineer to design and deliver generative‑AI features built on large language models. You will work on the application layer, creating retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines, prompt orchestration, and agentic components that power next‑generation products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop generative‑AI features using LLM and foundation‑model APIs.
• Implement RAG pipelines, including document processing, embeddings, and vector search.
• Design, test, and refine prompts and orchestration logic for LLM‑driven workflows.
• Build and integrate agentic components, tool‑calling, and multi‑step flows.
• Integrate AI capabilities into applications, preferably using OCI Generative AI services.
• Evaluate model outputs, implement guardrails, and run experiments to compare prompts, models, and configurations.
• Collaborate with senior AI engineers and product teams to deliver production‑ready AI features.
• Document AI components, prompts, and integration patterns for maintainability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of software‑engineering experience with hands‑on work on LLM or generative‑AI features.
• Experience building production RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector‑database solutions.
• Familiarity with responsible‑AI and safety considerations.
