Applications Specialist – Systems Operations

About the role

The Applications Specialist – Systems Operations will ensure the stability, availability, and performance of Mowasalat’s enterprise applications. You will support daily operations, resolve incidents, monitor performance, and work closely with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver reliable transport solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for enterprise applications, troubleshooting issues and maintaining system reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date application documentation, including user manuals and technical specifications.
• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and implementing software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Gather and analyse business and system requirements, producing business cases and technical documentation.
• Integrate applications with existing systems, configure settings, and optimise performance and user experience.
• Develop and deliver user training programs and maintain user guides, manuals, and FAQs.
• Monitor system performance, support incident resolution, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with operational standards and data confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in enterprise application support or systems operations.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
