Assessment Manager

About the role

As Qatar Airways Group continues to expand, we are looking for an Assessment Manager to lead the delivery of talent assessment tools and services across the organisation. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and various business units to translate competency frameworks into effective selection and development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Qatar Airways Group Business Psychology Strategy and act as a champion for assessment services.
• Drive evidence‑based selection processes, define stakeholder roles and set performance expectations.
• Partner with internal business units and HR to provide talent insights, data and recommendations for critical roles, including pilots.
• Assist recruiters and the Talent Acquisition team with queries on assessment best practices, results and decisions.
• Provide input on assessment criteria, matrices, scores and results for selection and development.
• Deliver training or coaching sessions on business psychology activities and ethical use of assessment tools.
• Apply job analysis and competency‑modelling techniques to identify technical and behavioural competencies.
• Conduct interviews and assessment centres for pilot recruitment in line with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in talent assessment, psychology or HR.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; a Master’s in Organizational Psychology is an advantage.
• Registration with a relevant psychological association in good standing.
• Proven ability to work with stakeholders across a large, multicultural organisation.
