Assistant Store Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast‑paced beauty retail environment. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will help drive sales performance, coach the team and ensure the store meets visual and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee opening/closing procedures, grooming standards, tester hygiene and overall floor readiness.
• Guide Beauty Advisors and Specialists on consultation techniques, product storytelling and brand service standards.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving KPIs such as sales targets, conversion rate, ATV, UPT and customer retention.
• Monitor product performance, stock levels, replenishment and execute in‑store activations, promotions and beauty events.
• Coach and develop a team of Beauty Advisors, Specialists and Cashiers, providing on‑floor feedback and product knowledge training.
• Manage inventory processes including replenishment, shrinkage control, FIFO/FEFO and coordinate with supply‑chain teams.
• Maintain visual merchandising, planograms and brand presentation while ensuring accurate cash handling and audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management or related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years experience in beauty, cosmetics or luxury retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of beauty products, consultation techniques and customer experience standards.
• Excellent communication, coaching and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to thrive in a launch‑driven environment.
