Assistant/Associate Professor in Business Data Analytics

About the role

The University of Doha for Science and Technology seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor to lead teaching and research in Business Data Analytics. Reporting to the Department Head, the successful candidate will design, deliver and assess courses while fostering industry collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and evaluate a portfolio of Business Data Analytics courses.
• Assess student progress and manage learning resources.
• Engage with industry partners and advisory committees to align curriculum with market needs.
• Maintain accreditation documentation and contribute to instructional improvement plans.
• Participate in professional and community activities within the College.

Required profile

• PhD in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related discipline from an internationally recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years (Assistant) or 8 years (Associate) of post‑secondary teaching experience.
• Strong research record with publications in top‑tier journals and experience supervising graduate students.
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with industry and professional bodies.

Required skills

• Digital literacy and fluency with technology systems.
• Proficiency in using current and emerging digital tools for research and learning.
