Audiovisual Engineer – AV Designer & Solution Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audiovisual Engineer to join our growing team as an AV Designer and Solution Developer. The successful candidate will lead the creation of detailed AV shop drawings, develop system schematics, and provide technical support across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation and submission of AV shop drawings.
• Review tender documents, specifications, and RFQs.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Develop comprehensive AV system schematics and technical designs.
• Provide technical support and coordination with project teams.
• Prepare design progress reports and drawing logs.
• Review technical proposals and conduct delegated design reviews.
• Mentor design engineers and draughtsmen.
• Deliver technical training to internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• 5–7+ years of AV system design experience with a system integrator or AV consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of professional AV systems, signal flow, and system integration.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• AVIXA CTS‑D certification is highly preferred.
