Cost Management Analyst – Financial Planning & Reporting

About the role

The Cost Management Analyst will support SPIE Global Services Energy in Qatar by monitoring, analysing and managing organisational costs. The role ensures financial efficiency, regulatory compliance and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives while providing insight for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for all cost‑management matters, tracking daily cost control activities and periodic reporting.
• Develop and maintain annual cost‑management plans, financial models and forecasting tools.
• Establish and continuously improve cost‑management procedures, frameworks and best practices.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting across departments, reviewing submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare monthly cost performance reports, variance analyses and gap‑to‑target assessments.
• Support strategic decisions with detailed ad‑hoc financial and cost analyses.
• Provide KPI reporting and trend analysis related to operational costs and inventories.
• Conduct regular meetings with department heads and finance stakeholders to review cost performance and initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in cost management, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Ability to develop and maintain financial models and forecasting tools.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction and presentation of insights.
• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement of cost‑management processes.
