Drainage Engineer

About the role

Parsons is looking for a Drainage Engineer to join its Doha, Qatar team. You will contribute to the conceptual and detailed design of infrastructure projects, preparing technical documentation and collaborating across engineering disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed drainage designs for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare technical notes, design reports, calculations, material take‑offs and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with civil, water and other utility engineers to deliver integrated, multi‑disciplinary solutions.
• Produce design models using Civil 3D or similar tools and ensure compliance with QA/QC standards.
• Review and finalize engineering drawings, resolve clashes with BIM/CAD models and support other wet utilities as needed.
• Track progress against schedules and present design proposals to clients and authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant drainage or water‑utilities engineering experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of QA/QC procedures and ability to work both independently and within a team.
