Grid Software Trainee (Smart Infrastructure)

About the role

Join Siemens Smart Infrastructure as a Grid Software Trainee and help shape the future of digital power distribution and building technologies. You will work on innovative projects that connect the physical and digital worlds, using data, analytics, and AI to make energy systems more efficient and sustainable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data‑analytics dashboards using PowerBI.
• Perform customer presentations and product demos.
• Apply AI/ML techniques for decision‑support and recommendations.
• Design and implement IoT solutions, including site installation and configuration.
• Master industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, MBUS, DLMS, and MQTT.
• Create custom software using Python, SQL, JavaScript and robust API integration.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven full‑stack software development experience.
• Track record delivering projects with JavaScript, Python, SQL and PowerBI.
• Knowledge of IoT technologies from sensors to cloud platforms.
• Experience with AI/ML‑based applications.
• Strong documentation and solution‑design capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
