IT Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT Specialist to provide day‑to‑day technical support across all hotel departments, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and hotel systems. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network connectivity, and supporting the Property Management and Point‑of‑Sale applications used by staff and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for computers, printers, telephones, networks, Wi‑Fi and other hotel IT equipment.
• Monitor and maintain servers, workstations, and hotel systems, performing regular backups and restorations.
• Coordinate repair, replacement and timely return to service of faulty equipment.
• Manage user accounts, system access and IT security measures to protect data and prevent cyber threats.
• Support implementation, upgrades and configuration of hotel applications such as PMS and POS.
• Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software licences, warranties and documentation.
• Prepare IT reports, assist with audits and liaise with vendors for maintenance and support.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of IT experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, operating systems and hotel systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
