Network Specialist

About the role

The Network Specialist will ensure a secure, high‑performance network infrastructure for the client’s head office and branch locations. This role combines network operations, security administration, and Azure networking to keep the environment resilient and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, wireless LAN controllers (WLCs) and access points; configure routing/switching protocols and site‑to‑site VPNs.
• Maintain firewall configurations, define content‑filtering policies and oversee Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
• Design, implement and manage Azure virtual networks, subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Application Gateways and Azure Bastion.
• Lead incident response for network security events, conduct vulnerability scans and security assessments.
• Create and maintain procedural documentation, change requests and firmware/IOS updates after client approval.
• Coordinate with ISPs, track device licenses and produce regular network security reports.

Required profile

• Subject‑matter‑expert level experience in enterprise networking and security.
• Mandatory certifications: Cisco CCNP and Cisco CCIE.
• Proven ability to design and operate Azure‑based network solutions.
