Pharmacy Technician

About the role

Join the Qatar Airways Group Medical Department as a Pharmacy Technician. You will support the Company Pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations and manage the medical kit workflow from the pharmacy to aircraft, ensuring strict chain‑of‑custody compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications accurately under supervision.
• Receive and verify pharmaceutical and consumable deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
• Perform quality checks on medical kit items and issue conformity certificates.
• Maintain proper storage, sealing, and security of medical kits, applying FIFO to avoid expiries.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain for collection and delivery of kits and related materials.
• Support stock audits by counting inventory and reporting discrepancies.
• Update pharmaceutical price lists and registered drug lists per regulatory circulars.
• Generate monthly productivity, consumption, and financial reports.
• Conduct equipment checks and calibrations as required.
• Perform shift duties, including weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Knowledge of local pharmacy regulations and best practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists and supply‑chain teams.
