Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking

About the role

The Relationship Manager will oversee an allocated corporate banking portfolio, driving growth through new client acquisition and deepening existing relationships. This role balances credit risk management with revenue generation, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review the assigned corporate portfolio, recommending credit facilities that maximize earnings while respecting risk appetite.
• Identify and pursue new prospects, including syndication and structured financing opportunities.
• Cross‑sell the bank’s products and services across client groups and affiliated entities.
• Conduct external control activities such as client calls, field visits, and market feedback collection.
• Coordinate internal processes: credit reviews, documentation, approvals, and operational issue resolution.
• Prepare term sheets, pre‑screen memos, financial models, risk ratings, and profitability reports.
• Gather information for new credit proposals and collaborate with Credit Product Group on financial spreads.
• Maintain strong relationships with decision‑makers to originate business aligned with strategy.
• Promote the bank’s participation in emerging debt and capital markets, especially in the TCM space.
• Collaborate with internal divisions to deliver structured solutions efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven relationship management experience in corporate banking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong credit knowledge with tertiary qualifications.
• Demonstrated credit analytical capability and experience.
• Experience in financial spreading, modeling, and credit presentation.
