Senior Cybersecurity Certification Consultant

About the role

The Senior Cybersecurity Certification Consultant leads certification assessment activities, ensuring organisations meet national and international cybersecurity standards. This role drives impartial, consistent certification decisions while managing assessment teams and maintaining the integrity of the certification process.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day certification assessments, reviewing applications and validating compliance.
• Manage and assign cases to assessment teams, maintaining accurate records.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of information security controls against standards.
• Document findings with clear, evidence‑based observations.
• Develop and maintain certification procedures, tools, and measurement mechanisms.
• Provide recommendations on assessment outcomes and ensure impartiality and confidentiality.
• Conduct cyber risk assessments and security audits.
• Deliver internal training and workshops to enhance team capabilities.
• Handle external communication throughout the audit process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in IT/Information Security/Cybersecurity.
• At least 4 years in senior auditor, assessor or cybersecurity risk management roles.
• Experience in cybersecurity consulting aligned with national or international standards.
