Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Nutanix Cloud Migration

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead on‑premise to cloud migration initiatives, focusing on Nutanix hyper‑converged solutions. You will design, implement and manage Nutanix AHV environments while ensuring seamless workload migration and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead lift‑and‑shift and parallel‑build migrations from on‑premise to cloud.
• Design, implement and administer Nutanix AHV‑based hyper‑converged infrastructure.
• Manage Nutanix Cloud Platform components such as Prism Element, Prism Central and Self Service.
• Plan and execute workload migrations with minimal downtime.
• Design Disaster Recovery solutions meeting defined RPO/RTO targets.
• Perform capacity planning, performance optimization and lifecycle management.
• Develop automation scripts for provisioning, migration, monitoring and operations.
• Support hybrid cloud environments, including Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2).
• Implement security, availability, scalability and efficiency best practices.
• Collaborate with application, network, security and cloud teams.
• Handle incidents, problems and change requests following ITIL processes.
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud migration and Nutanix technologies.
• Proven track record of server workload migration and infrastructure transformation.
• Relevant certifications such as Nutanix Certified Professional, Advanced Professional, Expert, ITIL Foundation and cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are preferred.
