Senior System Engineer – Hybrid Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to design, implement and maintain a robust ICT infrastructure that supports sports facilities and large‑scale venues. The role ensures high availability during mega events and day‑to‑day operations, working across on‑premises and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage hybrid infrastructure including Active Directory, Windows Server, Azure Cloud, VMware vSphere/ESXi, Dell VxRail, NSX, storage, networking and backup systems.
• Oversee Azure services such as virtual networks, compute, storage, Entra ID and hybrid integrations.
• Administer hyper‑converged infrastructure (HCI) for performance and scalability.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, patch management, capacity planning and hardware lifecycle.
• Lead infrastructure projects: RFP preparation, vendor evaluation, migrations and technical documentation.
• Provide L2/L3 support for escalated incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor system health, performance and security across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Manage CCTV and surveillance infrastructure, guaranteeing reliable video storage and access.
• Coordinate incident, problem and change management following ITIL practices, perform root‑cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams, vendors and stakeholders to maintain service continuity.

Required profile

• 8+ years of infrastructure/system engineering experience in hybrid environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT or Computer Science.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and experience with incident, problem and change management.
• Proven ability to work in high‑availability, mission‑critical settings (sports/event experience a plus).
