Customer Care Associate – Hospital Front Desk

About the role

The Associate Customer Care role supports patients and visitors at Aster Hospital by guiding them through registration, insurance, and appointment processes. You will act as the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and courteous experience for all.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with completing registration and insurance forms.
• Answer incoming calls, route queries, and provide information on services, packages, and consultant timings.
• Book, reschedule, cancel and confirm appointments via phone, walk‑ins, website and SMS.
• Coordinate with the Insurance Coordinator and external insurers for approvals and package coverage.
• Maintain patient records, consent forms, payment documents and laboratory reports.
• Ensure hygiene standards are upheld and privacy/confidentiality is respected.
• Support internal and external stakeholders in approvals, patient assistance and feedback handling.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in a customer‑facing or patient‑service role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic office software for data entry and document creation.
