About the role
ABB is seeking an Instrumentation Service Technician to execute low to medium complexity service work on‑site in Qatar. You will work directly with customers, identify improvement opportunities and ensure equipment operates reliably.
Key responsibilities
- Perform field service tasks, diagnose technical issues and conduct analysis on‑site or remotely.
- Prepare material lists, verify availability and quality of parts and equipment for each service activity.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process failures, recommend corrective actions and proactive improvements.
- Collaborate with customers to identify operational pain points and suggest enhancements.
Required profile
- Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in instrumentation product service.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work within a multinational, multicultural team.
Required skills
- Instrumentation product knowledge.
- Troubleshooting and fault analysis.
- Field service execution and material planning.
