Key Account Manager – Oil & Gas (Safety & Learning Solutions)

About the role

The company is a well‑established GCC learning and development business that delivers safety and technical learning solutions to major energy operators. They are looking for a Key Account Manager to take full ownership of their flagship Qatar energy account and drive significant growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own relationships with SHES, safety and operational stakeholders at a major Qatar energy operator.
• Run briefing sessions to uncover client needs and write and close commercial proposals end‑to‑end.
• Drive adoption and utilisation of digital learning platforms across the account.
• Protect renewals and identify expansion opportunities across new projects and teams.
• Coordinate internal delivery teams and provide leadership with clear insight on pipeline, risk and account health.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the HSE/SHES landscape in oil and gas.
• Proven experience writing and closing commercial proposals.
• Experience with learning technology, safety training solutions or technical SaaS sales (strong advantage).
• Track record of growing accounts beyond their original scope.
• Based in Qatar or Dubai with the ability to be on‑site in Qatar regularly.
• Fluent English.
