Project Controls Manager – Doha, Qatar

About the role

Wood is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead the Project Services team for a long‑term project in Doha, Qatar. The role reports to the Portfolio Delivery Manager and ensures high‑quality, timely delivery of cost, schedule, and risk controls.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the contract Project Controls Plan and ensure all project staff understand their responsibilities.
• Establish and manage man‑hour, cost, planning, and estimation control systems, including monthly invoicing to Qatar Shell GTL.
• Own the contract Management of Change (MOC) and risk management processes.
• Prepare client and internal project reports and support client assurance and verification activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of oil & gas experience, including at least 7 years leading a project services team.
• At least 10 years delivering brown‑field oil & gas projects, with 5 years as an umbrella contract project services lead.
• Proven experience in portfolio management and multidisciplinary resource coordination.
