Director of Food & Beverage – Banquets

About the role

The Director of Food & Beverage – Banquets will lead the banquet and events portfolio for Raffles & Fairmont Doha, delivering world‑class luxury experiences for conferences, weddings, social celebrations and large‑scale functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic vision for banquet operations across both brands.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability and guest satisfaction through effective pricing, cost control and service standards.
• Oversee all aspects of event planning, execution and post‑event analysis.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for the banquet department.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team of banquet managers, chefs and service staff.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, health & safety regulations and local laws.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in luxury hotel food & beverage or banquet operations.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue and profit targets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment.
