Executive Pastry Chef

About the role

The Executive Pastry Chef will lead the pastry and bakery operations for Rosewood Doha, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality products that reflect the brand’s luxury standards and guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production management of all pastry and bakery goods, ensuring timely mise‑en‑place and delivery across food‑and‑beverage outlets.
• Maintain brand standards, hygiene protocols, and operational guidelines while driving productivity and cost efficiency.
• Handle guest and internal customer complaints, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolution.
• Develop and implement departmental manuals, briefings, and training programs.
• Source marketing and PR opportunities to raise the pastry outlet’s profile.
• Recruit, coach, and evaluate pastry associates, fostering creativity and innovation.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in luxury hotel pastry operations.
• Strong focus on guest satisfaction, quality, and safety standards.
• Ability to manage multi‑skilling schedules, control payroll and utility costs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with other departments.
