About the role

Doha Bank is looking for a seasoned technology leader to head its Data Intelligence & Analytics department. This senior position will shape the bank’s data ecosystem, delivering actionable insights and ensuring robust governance across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an enterprise-wide data strategy in partnership with the CDIO.
• Design and implement scalable data architecture and technology platforms.
• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Oversee data integration, migration, and automation initiatives.
• Develop secure, high‑performance data infrastructure aligned with regulatory and business needs.
• Collaborate with IT and digital transformation teams to build advanced analytics capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into technical data solutions and architecture blueprints.
• Ensure compliance with QCB and other regulatory bodies through robust data controls.
• Promote innovation by adopting emerging data and analytics technologies.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, architects, and analysts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in banking or financial services with a focus on data architecture and governance.
• Proven track record leading enterprise data programs and building scalable solutions.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and data security.
