MICE Assistant Manager (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

Join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as a MICE Assistant Manager, responsible for coordinating corporate events, conferences, meetings, exhibitions, incentive groups, and social functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operational planning and execution of meetings, conferences, exhibitions, incentive groups, and corporate events.
• Coordinate with Banquets, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping, and AV/IT teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Prepare and review Banquet Event Orders, function sheets, event schedules, and operational checklists.
• Conduct pre‑event briefings, supervise event setup, monitor event operations, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures.
• Manage last‑minute changes, group arrivals, accommodation, transportation, and resolve client concerns promptly.
• Supervise and support event team members, conduct post‑event reviews, and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in MICE operations, banquet or event management within a luxury hotel.
• Previous supervisory or team‑leadership experience.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hotel/event management systems such as Opera or Delphi.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and hotel operational procedures.
