Senior Pastry Chef

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pastry Chef to join a premium restaurant group in Doha. The role involves leading the pastry operation, creating high‑quality desserts and bakery products, and ensuring exceptional standards of taste and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day pastry operations and maintain consistently high standards.
• Develop and produce a range of desserts, plated desserts, pastries and bakery items.
• Create innovative pastry concepts aligned with the restaurant’s identity.
• Manage preparation, production, service, stock, portion control and food costs.
• Train, supervise and develop junior pastry team members.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team on menus and new product development.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Pastry Chef or similar senior pastry role.
• Strong background in fine dining, luxury hotels or high‑end restaurants.
• Excellent technical pastry skills and knowledge of modern pastry techniques.
• Creative approach to desserts and presentation.
• Leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
