Aircraft Mechanic – Line IFE

About the role

We are looking for an Aircraft Mechanic specialized in Line In‑Flight Entertainment (IFE) to join our maintenance team in Doha. You will deliver aircraft maintenance services, ensuring compliance with company and customer procedures and aircraft data.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tests and inspections of products, services or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
• Adjust, align and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges and test equipment.
• Examine and inspect engines or other components for cracks, breaks or leaks.
• Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping or other defects.
• Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic and structural components using hand and power tools.
• Service, clean, grease screens and moving parts, and check brakes.
• Repair, replace and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components and parts such as wings, fuselage, rigging and hydraulic units.
• Test engine and system operations using testing equipment and diagnose malfunctions.
• Remove and install engines using hoist or forklift trucks.
• Modify aircraft structures, systems or components following drawings, engineering orders and technical publications.
• Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine repair methods.
• Implement technical solutions for line maintenance problems.
• Perform other department duties as directed by the Head of the Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
• Practical experience in heavy cabin and IFE maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical publications.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required.
