Buggy Technician – Maintenance of Electric & Gas Buggies

About the role

The Buggy Technician ensures that all electric and gasoline‑powered buggies and golf carts used across the resort are safe, reliable, and ready for guest use. Working on a vibrant hospitality site, you will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and rapid repairs to keep the fleet operational.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on all buggies and golf carts.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults.
• Service batteries, motors, controllers, brakes, steering, suspension, and lighting systems.
• Perform routine safety checks and keep detailed maintenance records.
• Replace defective parts, maintain charging equipment, and ensure vehicles are clean and operational.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repair requests.
• Follow all workplace safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with golf carts, buggies, or small vehicle maintenance.
• Knowledge of electric vehicle systems and battery troubleshooting.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Valid driving licence (preferred).
