Infrastructure Engineer (Nutanix AHV Specialist)

About the role

The Infrastructure Engineer will focus on Nutanix AHV‑based platforms, driving migration of server workloads using lift‑and‑shift and parallel‑build strategies. The role ensures resilient disaster‑recovery solutions that meet defined RPO/RTO targets while supporting hybrid cloud operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Nutanix AHV and hyper‑converged infrastructure (HCI) environments.
• Execute server workload migrations using lift‑and‑shift and parallel‑build methodologies.
• Implement and maintain DR solutions aligned with business continuity requirements.
• Perform capacity planning, scripting and automation to standardize migrations and day‑to‑day operations.
• Administer Nutanix Prism Element, Prism Central and Nutanix Self Service portals.
• Apply ITIL‑based processes for change and incident management to ensure stable hybrid cloud services.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Nutanix AHV, HCI and related management tools.
• Strong background in server workload migration and DR solution design.
• Hands‑on expertise in capacity planning, scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with ITIL change and incident management practices.
