IT Executive

About the role

The IT Executive will oversee all technology systems at Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara, ensuring seamless operation of hotel applications, networks and communication tools. This role supports every department by delivering prompt technical assistance, safeguarding data and maintaining high system availability.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and support core hotel IT systems including PMS, POS, accounting software and back‑office applications.
• Monitor and manage LAN/WAN networks, Wi‑Fi connectivity and server infrastructure.
• Implement data backup, disaster recovery and security protocols.
• Provide daily hardware and software support to hotel staff, configure workstations and manage user accounts.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software and network maintenance.
• Plan and execute regular system updates and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and PCI‑DSS standards, conducting regular security audits.
• Maintain telecommunication systems (IP phones, PBX, VoIP) and resolve guest internet issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–4 years of IT support experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to provide 24/7 on‑call support when required.
