Multi Discipline Inspector - Offshore Construction

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Multi Discipline Inspector in Doha to perform inspection and surveillance of offshore construction, hook-up, maintenance and commissioning activities. The inspector covers structural steel, piping, pressure vessels, equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation and control systems, ensuring compliance with drawings, procedures, ITPs and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect structural steel, piping systems, pressure vessels, equipment installation, electrical systems, instrumentation and control systems.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, procedures, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and project specifications.
• Conduct material receiving, preservation, installation and final inspections.
• Witness NDT activities, pressure testing, hydrotesting, flushing, loop checking, function testing and commissioning.
• Monitor welding and fabrication activities against applicable codes and standards.
• Raise, track and close Punch List items and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Prepare daily inspection reports, quality documentation and turnover dossiers.
• Coordinate with client representatives, construction teams, subcontractors and commissioning personnel.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7-10 years of offshore QA/QC inspection experience in Oil & Gas, FPSO, offshore platforms or marine construction.
• Previous experience in offshore installation, hook-up, brownfield modifications or EPC projects.
• Offshore certification and medical fitness certification required.
