About the role
The Reservations Supervisor oversees the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes for a luxury hotel in Doha. The role ensures guests receive exceptional service from the first phone call through check‑in, while supporting the team in delivering the brand’s Gold Standards.
Key responsibilities
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Verify room availability, rates, and guarantee policies, and communicate them to guests.
- Accommodate and document special requests, and set up proper billing accounts.
- Maintain the reservation system, input data accurately, and troubleshoot guest issues.
- Train, schedule, coach, and motivate reservation staff, acting as a role model for fair treatment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality, and quality‑assurance standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related reservations experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
