Senior AI Product Owner

About the role

The Senior AI Product Owner will lead the delivery of Data & AI products for Retail or Wholesale Banking at Commercial Bank of Qatar. You will act as the single point of accountability for product vision, prioritisation and execution, bridging business needs with the Data & AI Lab teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain product vision and roadmap for data and AI solutions within the assigned business domain.
• Partner with domain heads and senior stakeholders to identify new data‑driven opportunities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Data Lab and business units, managing expectations, prioritising requests and communicating progress.
• Own and manage the product backlog across multiple teams (Data Engineering, Data Science, ML Engineering, BI).
• Lead Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle, coordinating design, development, testing and release.
• Integrate Data Lab products with enterprise systems and business workflows.
• Define and track KPIs, ensure compliance with data governance, privacy and security policies.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of banking processes (Retail, Corporate/Wholesale, Digital channels).
• Strong product management background, preferably in Data or AI domains.
• Proven ability to translate strategic priorities into scalable, high‑impact solutions.
• Experience working with cross‑functional Agile teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
