School HR Manager

About the role

Nord Anglia Education is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead people management for Compass International School Doha. Working closely with the Principal and senior leadership, you will ensure HR services align with the school’s strategic and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruitment for all teaching and support positions.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations, providing advice, coaching and mediation.
• Oversee daily HR operations, including payroll inputs, contract renewals, attendance tracking and personnel file maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, MOEHE regulations and Nord Anglia HR policies.
• Manage employee visa renewals, residency processes and exit procedures.
• Coordinate the annual appraisal and performance review cycle.
• Support managers with goal setting, feedback and development planning.
• Partner with the Principal on workforce planning, compensation and people priorities.
• Champion diversity, inclusion and wellbeing across the school community.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (CIPD desirable).
• 5–7 years of HR generalist or managerial experience, preferably in an educational or service‑focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law, employment legislation and immigration processes.
• Proven ability to manage high‑volume recruitment and onboarding.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with influence at senior level.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities.

Required skills

• SuccessFactors (HRIS) proficiency.
