About the role
The Steakhouse at JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join its culinary team. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the service team during busy periods.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
- Thaw frozen items in a controlled manner and ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish.
- Maintain food logs, monitor quality and quantity of prepared food, and communicate needs to the Chef.
- Inform service staff of menu specials, out‑of‑stock items, and excess food for daily specials.
- Follow all safety, security, and hygiene policies; report maintenance issues and accidents.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating team members as needed.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant kitchen experience, preferably in a steakhouse or fine‑dining environment.
- No prior supervisory experience required.

- Food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Food safety and hygiene compliance.
